Socio-demographic processes and economic growth in African countries (case of North African sub-region)
The article investigates issues of mutual relation and interaction of economic and socio-demographic changes in the countries of North Africa, presents data on correlation analysis of various dual indices that characterize demographic, social and economic spheres of social life. The author argues that under the dominating role of traditional reproductive behavior and the corresponding absolute population growth in the countries of North African sub-region, tendencies in demographic processes may have opposite vectors of development
