Some notes on the Christian normative teaching on the interest
The article discusses the interest-baring loan in the Christian ethos, shows differences between loan and usury in the Old Testament teaching, and addresses the moral aspect of limiting interest relations in Christianity. The author investigates Church legislation on the interest in the Middle Ages and discusses contradictions between the Christian ideals and practice of entrepreneurship
