Dissemination of knowledge and technologies in semi-conductor branch: foreign experience and perspectives in Russia
The article discusses variants of acceleration development of semi-conductor production in Russia, presents a historical analysis of USA experience (the country where this branch of industry originated), as well as imitative experience of Asian countries. The authors argue that the “imitative” model of this branch development is quite acceptable for Russia as well. Original ideas should be borrowed though scholarly exchange, purchasing of licenses, acquiring and adaptation of foreign technologies
Key words: innovations, semi-conductor branch, industrial organization, scholarly exchange, license
