From the history of Russian economical thought: P.I. Georgievsky vs. M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky
The article describes the history of opposition between P.I. Georgievsky, professor of the Law Department of Petersburg University, and M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky in 1910s, in the context of struggle against Marxism and socialism in the university circles. Major benchmarks in the biography of P.I. Georgievsky, an economist and scholar (end of XIX – beginning XX c.) who later on was forgotten, are presented.. The author publishes a note by P.I. Georgievsky about M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky’s work, which was discovered in the Russian State Historical Archive
