Regional priorities in providing meat products
The article discusses tendencies characteristic to the international market for meat, import of meat to Russia, as well as the effects this producers upon regional agricultural producers. Referring to the case of Tjumen’ region, the author argues that development of integration processes in the meat product sub-complex should be viewed as the priority direction of development. These processes are aimed at creating the system of the region’s self-supply, and presupposes price equivalence among the structural components within the integration structure of the holding type
