Article - Problems of Modern Economics

The article discusses the issue of mutual influence of the theory of economic cycle, economic conjuncture and economic growth in the process of economic theory evolution. The author defines the tendency towards application of functions that describe economic cyclicity for contemporary models of economic growth, and stresses scholars’ attention to processes taking place on micro- and mezzo-levels. Significance of synthetic theories of growth and cycle for the analysis of unstable economy is stressed
