| The article focuses on the concept of “corporate social responsibility” (CSR) and discusses the socially responsible business behavior within the framework of sustainable societal development. Presently CSR does not have a single definition in academic and business circles, and the author attempts to select theoretical ideas that may help to integrate its existing definitions.
