| Based on empirical investigation of 70 companies in Novosibirsk region, the article discusses the problems of development of small-scale innovative business. The major attention is focused on the three aspects of the topic: what hinders development of small-scale firms in the innovative sphere, what are their factors of success, and what forms of support of innovative business are most preferable.
