Infrastructure of contemporary regional markets in West-European countries at the turn of the XXI c.: problems of functioning (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article focuses on the problems in the functioning of contemporary infrastructure and infrastructure markets in developed foreign countries and discusses the questions of economic geography starting with 1990s to the present day. The author presents a typology of contemporary research in spatial economics in the context of such notions as industrial organization, okrug, network, city administration, etc., and discusses the polemics of West European specialists related to the sphere of contemporary regional science
