| | | The authors present the case of Kalinin district of the city of Ufa to discuss socio-economic state of the city as a whole over the period between 2005 and 2010. In particular, the article analyzes the demographic situation in the district, birth and death rates, migration, marriage and divorce rates, as well as employment and wage dynamics.
