Systems of competitive enterprises in the sphere of services (Russia, St. Petersburg)
The article focuses on the specific features characteristic to the clusters in the sphere of services. From the point of view of the aims of the regional politics, clusters may be seen as reference points that define the directions of its effective development. The author discusses various methods used to distinguish services clusters in the Russian economy, their localization and dynamics, and defines the notion of the “local clusters,” which usually contain a large number of service clusters
