| The article analyzes the major principles of strategic documents related to the socio-economic development of Tuva. Further development of the Republic and its borderline territories requires the construction of Kuragino-Kyzyl railroad, with the possibility of extending it to Mongolia. However, a number of projects supported on the basis of state-and-private partnership by the Investment Fund, especially those concerning the region’s natural resources, may be delayed due to a number of various factors.
