| | | Criminal economic activity may be divided into “labor” and “entrepreneurial” types. According to the economic approach, the crime is committed when it brings higher profit compared to that produced in the alternative legal activity, the probability of legal persecution and punishment being a part of this definition. Economic reforms in Russia were accompanied by the growth of crime, which was economically profitable for a lot of people. Russia’s main problem is stealing committed on a mass scale.
