Economic basis of a city and the major problems of its reconstruction and development (Russia, Makhachkala)
The article discusses the major problems of development of contemporary Russian cities; special attention is paid to the development of the city-forming bases as the nucleus of the cities’ economic foundation, which is defined as the complex of branches (units) that determine the role of the city in public and territorial division of labor, or its specialization, including industrial specialization
