| | | The article analyzes “pros” and “contras” of Ukraine joining the European Union or the Customs Union. The author presents a system of arguments showing that joining the European Union entails a long economic recession in Ukraine, transformation of the country into agrarian and raw material appendage, and eventually the loss of national sovereignty.
