Shortening of the labor time as an instrument to overcome labor deficit:
the paradoxical experience of Japan for Russian reforms (Japan, Fukui; Russia, Nizhny Novgorod)
The article discusses the major features of the labor time in Japan in Russia, and shows that justified measures of state regulation of labor enable productivity growth, intensify the structural reconstruction and help overcome labor power deficit. Legislative limitation of the labor time may serve an important took in modernization of Russian economy and social sphere
