Material value of economic information in the productive and commercial activity of an enterprise (Russia, St. Petersburg)
The author argues that information used in the productive and commercial activity of an enterprise possesses material value. The informational resource of an enterprise presupposes comprehensive, reliable and up-to-date information; information and production may be seen as objective equivalents. The article describes regressive correlations between the volume of information and production, and suggests a number of ways to increase the efficacy of production and commerce based on a more comprehensive use of the enterprises’ informational resource
