Struggle against poverty in the Peoples’ Republic of China: historical experience, problems and perspectives (Russia, Ufa)
The article summarizes the experience overcoming mass poverty in the People’s Republic of China both in the urban and in the rural territories. The author shows the impact of the “Asian model of development” upon the indices of popular well-being and development of social inequality, and stresses that measures of economic development play a significant role in the solution of social problems
