| The article presents a critical overview of the key concepts that form the theory of competitiveness and competitive advantages. The authors identify four stages of development, which comes closer with industrial (theory of economic development by I. Schumpeter and the theory of industrial organization) and post-industrial (resource-based view and the value system concept) society.
