| The article discusses regularities in the development of vegetable-and-potato sub-complex of Chelyabinsk region from the perspective of the possibility of import substitution of basic vegetables and attainting food security in the situation of sanctions. Linear correlation-and-regressive models as used in the forecast, with regards to the expected changes in the material basis of this agricultural segment.
