| The author describes a new way to develop the methodology of monitoring of the strategic potential based on K.B. Kleiner’s concept of realization of strategic processes through the sphere of expectations. Analysis of the major models of competitive advantages formation allows to formulate the hypothesis on the use of the systemic approach to the evaluation of factors that impact the strategic behavior.
