| Based on the analysis of Russian and foreign research, the article systematizes approaches to the evaluation of efficacy of mergers and acquisitions. The generalized notion of efficacy boils down to achieving integration goals in the long- and medium-term run, as well as to the positive dynamics of financial, stock, and other indices. Efficacy evaluation does not include costs for the agreements of mergers and acquisitions, since it is rather difficult to evaluate business integration costs upon the conclusion of the deals and to measure the costs of mergers. The article offers a new algorithm of evaluation of mergers and acquisitions that includes temporal parameters and functional aspects of the integration | Key words: integration, mergers and acquisitions, evaluation of efficacy of mergers and acquisitions | Pages: 71 - 75 |
