Payment systems: contemporary interpretation and classification

The article analyzes contemporary interpretations of the paying systems, discusses their particular specificities, and offers a new approach to their classification. In the new classification, the author distinguishes classical and innovative features of the paying systems, and defines their key traits such as payment schemes through virtual currencies
