| The high cost of banking credits and strict requirements presented to the borrowers stimulate development of alternative market of loanable means. The article presents the results of the research focusing on the burgeoning market of private unsecured credits in Russia, gives a comparative evaluation of the P2P-crediting segment on the Russian and Western financial markets, and discusses the potential of involving commercial banks into this process.
