| The author addresses the issue of diversification of the global economy, which launched a number of significant transformations in the development of international relations. These, in their own turn, produced changes in political, social, and legal processes in each country actively participating in the global economic processes. Special attention is given to regularities and tendencies in the development of competitive abilities of small- and medium-scale businesses under the impact of the current geopolitical realities.
