| The article presents the 9th lecture of the “General Economics” course for economic and non-economic majors. It discusses the transformation of profit into average profit, and the cost of goods into the price of production as a result of competition among various branches of economy. Inequality of the norms of profit among various economic branches is the reason of Russia’s de-industrialization. On the global level, the law of average profit produces the re-distribution of the surplus value from the extracting countries to the countries possessing high technologies by way of decreasing “oil” prices and raising “IPad and IPhone” prices. The author provides definitions of production price, market cost and market price, perfect and imperfect competitions (monopoly, oligopoly) | Key words: political economy, capital, macroeconomics, microeconomics, synthesis of approaches | Pages: 190 - 196 |
