| The article analyzes changes in the nature of global architecture that foreground the necessity of interdisciplinary development of the “national security” concept and its sub-systems in the economic, political, legal, military and other areas of scholarship. The authors provide a complex evaluation of the Russian system of economic security and its major sub-systems over the period between 2013 and 2016. The research is based on the calculations of the integral index of the aggregate power of the state, which includes the weighted average value of 20 parameters and 9 major indices adopted by the international expert community and the objective comparison of Russia’s situation with that of other global leaders.
