| The article focuses on the institutional support for innovation-and-investment politics in the regions with particular attention to the group of specific “institutes of development” focused on the innovative development in the real sector of the Russian economy at large or of the region in particular. Since the Federal institutes of innovative development support only select regional projects, Russian Federation subject had to create their own institutes of development, while the majority of regions cannot provide for their effective functioning — hence, a lot of recent criticism of such regional “institutes of development.” The authors analyze the crucial aspects in the formation of the system of regional institutes that prove to be crucially important for the regional economy | Key words: investment climate, innovation system, institutes of innovative development, regional development corporations, investment politics of the region | Pages: 132 - 135 |
