Participation of foreign labor force in the socio-economic and ethno-demographic develop of the region (case of the Republic of Tatarstan) (Russia, Kazan')
The article discusses the efficacy of involving foreign labor force and the mechanism of its attraction. The authors focus on the territorial aspects of labor migration in the Republic of Tatarstan, the impact of foreign labor migrants upon the national security of the Republic, and the changes in the ethnic composition of the population. With regards to the present-day tendencies of demographic development, the article presents forecasts of the ethnic composition in the Republic of Tatarstan by the year of 2030. The authors provide recommendations for more effective involvement of foreign labor in the Republic’s economy
