The choice of developmental strategy of the Russian Federation subjects on the basis of rating evaluation of the levels of regional innovative development (Russia, St. Petersburg)

Innovative activity provides an opportunity for managerial decision making and to design a strategy of the regional development and range the regions based on the level of their innovative development on the basis of the corresponding indices of innovative development. Specific nature of innovative processes in various branches of the innovative activity of the region should be taken into account. The article distinguishes the key factors that produce the highest impact upon the level of the regional innovative development based on the rating evaluation of the degree of regional innovative development and with regards to the functioning of the elements of the regional innovation infrastructure
