| The article focuses on the nature of the crisis of 2015–2016 and shows that the specific features of the Russian recession stay within the frames of the cyclic recession of individual economic features: neither the duration of the recession nor the pre-crisis economic slowdown are unique Russian features. Calculation of the production differences also show some trend deviation ni the context of 2015–2016 recession.
