| The article focuses on issue of the countries’ investment attractiveness, provides a description of various ratings that reflect a country’s investment attractiveness and its investment climate. Based on the rating method, the authors evaluate the investment attractiveness of the countries in Central and Western Africa, and conclude that they are of interest primarily for direct investors that invest in the development of infrastructure.
