Neutrality of money, targeting of inflation, and discussions on money-and-credit politics in Russia (Russia, Ulyanovsk)
The article discusses existing perspectives upon the efficacy of money-and-credit policy implementation in Russia and the degree of neutrality of the money supply in the country’s economy. Analysis of impact produced by inflation upon the economic growth is conducted empirically in the form of economic evaluation of monetary equations. Preliminary results of the research demonstrate the positive impact of demand inflation upon the economic growth, which may require the change of strategic aims in the country’s monetary politics.
