| Research of branch barriers and conditions of firms’ entering the markets occupies a significant place within the system of measures aimed at improving competitive and industrial politics. The article provides a theoretical analysis of various circumstances that accompany the process of the firms’ penetration to the branch markets, discuss the economic nature of the barriers existing on the way, as well as specific features related to entrance and exit that are seen as mutually conditioned processes due to the structural and strategic nature of the barriers. The active dynamics of entrance and exit produces a positive impact upon the efficacy of the given industry. The author describes differences in perspectives upon the impact these barriers produce, discusses the typical stimulate for exit and some strategies of its inhibition, and stresses the high potential that innovative and diversified companies bring with them as they enter the market. | Key words: competition politics, structure of branch markets, entering the market, barriers of exit | Pages: 62 - 67 |
