| The article focuses on the change of balance of integration associations in Europe over the period between 1980 and 2010, such as the European Communities and the European Union (EU), on the one hand, and the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), on the other. Analysis is based on the database of the European Investment Bank (24,067 projects) over the period between 1959 and 2019; the database of 77 projects of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation between 2017 and 2019, compiled by the author; and 64 operations of the International Investment Bank registered between 2012 and 2019. The article discusses the major indices of the entities mentioned above, gives a detailed treatment to the project activity of the European Investment Bank in Eurasian Economic Union, and describes the major directions of the operational activity of the European Investment Bank and the International Bank for Economic Co-operation.
