| The article focuses on gamification of socio-economic communications. The notion of “gamification” is used a wide range of phenomena related to digitalization of socio-economic processes. With respect to economics, it manifests itself as a growing involvement of individuals and firms in investment, growing consumption of goods and services. In a broader sense, the term “gamification” refers to the global economic integration, and characterizes internalization of markets of goods and services, as well as factors of production, financial systems, competition, corporations, technologies and industries. Gamification contains not only positive, but also negative aspects: as any new phenomenon, gamification technologies may be used for fraud. Besides, they are more often than not oriented towards young people who do not have much social experience, the so-called “gamers.” The authors emphasize that that state should produce a heavier impact upon the processes of gamification of social communications, finance educational projects (e.g. those related to science-and-technology developments), create technological job places, develop digital economy and electronic culture. It is imperative to raise the level of social responsibility on the part of business structure, especially in the sphere of youth politics, which creates the socio-dynamic multiplier of the economic growth. | Key words: gamification, socio-economic communications, gaming mechanics, digital economy, youth politics, state as platform | Pages: 67 - 70 |
