| The article shows that small-scale venture enterprises, as the principle source of innovations, experience substantial difficulties in the regions, both at the stage of their formation and in their performance. This requires special attention and focused efforts on the part of all governmental and administrative bodies to support these enterprises. The role of large-scale enterprises with developed infrastructure and certain resource is worth of attention. Solution of the problem of sustainable development in the regions maybe achieved through coordinating of interests of municipalities, regions and economic subjects of both small- and large-scale enterprises.
