| The article discusses the change in balance of integration unions in Europe over the period between 1980 and 2010, such as the European Communities and the European Union (EU), on the one hand, and the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), on the other. The author analyzes the major indices of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) and the International Investment Bank (IIB) based on the EIB data base including 24,067 projects implemented over the period between 1959 and 2019, as well as the author’s database involving 77 projects initiated by IBEC over the period between 2017 and 2019 and 64 operations by the IIB inaugurated between 2012 and 2019.
