Structure of the market, technological potential and innovation activity: what should be taken into consideration in the process of modernization of competition politics

The article summarizes the main principles of research in the sphere of influence produced by various types of market structures upon innovative activity in the industrial sector of economy. The authors discuss possibilities of applying analytical means available in economy of branch markets
