| | | Since 2002 insurance of the agricultural activity in the Russian Federation is voluntary. After de-monopolization of insurance business, many companies emerged on the financial market of Russia, yet the insufficiency of finances with agricultural producers, deficient character of the very system of agricultural insurance, as well as fraud, constrain the development of insurance in agriculture.
