Influence of the types of employment and investment process in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China upon the possibilities of transition
to post-industrial society (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article distinguishes structural characteristics directly influencing the proportion between the basic and the pioneering sectors of economy, including the types of employment, to discuss the influence of the consumed labor power upon the functioning of economic systems in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (including Russia) and China. On the basis of this analysis the author presents a classification of the countries in accordance with the types of employment, labor productivity, volumes of investment, innovation and investment factors in the growth of labor productivity, etc
