Diamond extraction industry in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): Contemporary state and restructuration (Russia, Yakutsk)

Enterprises of the diamond extraction industry are system-forming organizations in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), playing determining role in the socio-economic development of the region. Presently Russia’s diamond complex is undergoing considerable structural changes as far as redistribution of property is concerned. The article presents a comparative analysis of diamond extraction by large marine companies and enterprises of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
