| Globalization is the most important factor in the present-day development of the international economy. Kazakhstan is an active participant of integration processes, and globalization is both bringing advantages and posing risks for the Republic. The author argues that one can minimalize the negative consequences of globalization if the national economy were competitive with the developed economies of the world.
