Logic of the European Union in relation to energy corrections and perspective for claims on the part of the Russian Federation to the WTO conflict resolution organ (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article discusses anti-dumping duties introduced by the European Union for various products from the Russian Federation, known as “energy corrections.” Taking as an example aluminum foil less than 0.018 mm thick, the author discusses legislative acts adopted by the European commission and the legal logic standing behind it. The article evaluates perspectives of the lawsuit submitted by the Russian Federation to the WTO conflict resolution organ in respect to “energy corrections
