| The article discusses conceptual approaches to the formation of scholarly research university clusters in Russia, Republic of Belarus’ and the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Community. The authors synthesize results of the research “New economy and business” conducted in G.V. Plekhanov Russian Economic University, the purpose of which was to evaluate the degree of integration of research, educational and innovative activity in EEC universities.
