| The article discusses the history of development of the socio-economic thought of the Tatars, describes its source foundation, defines the key problems and their authors. Large-scale research of the history of economic thought of various peoples of Russia started in 1950-60s under the supervision of the Institute of Economics, USSR Academy of Sciences. Authors of the first volume, “History of Russian Economic Thought,” published in 1955, encouraged scholars from various republics of the country to contribute their vision of the economic thought of their respective peoples, aiming at creating a comprehensive history of the peoples of Russia in the long run | Key words: history of the economic thought, source foundation, science and religion, protectionism, open-door politics, religious tolerance, economic security | Pages: 243 - 245 |
