| The article discuss indices used for evaluation of socio-economic development and population’s wellbeing in various international ratings. The authors analyze correlational dependencies of selected indices and values of their components, show the impossibility to apply the summary indices under investigation to evaluate to evaluate the social well-being and sustainable development of the state.
