| The article analyzes the burden of premature mortality and its impact upon the development of depopulation processes and decrease of population in the most active and productive ages in the country. Changes in the system of health care without the accompanying revision of strategic plans in other sectors of state administration that impact risk factors of premature mortality will not lead to effective growth of the country’s demographic potential.
