| Based on the analysis of statistical data, the article distinguishes Russia’s current positions on the international tourist market and describes the ways of the country’s futher integration into it. The author shows that Russia is still unable to fully compete with the leading countries as far as the number of tourists is concerned, yet the development of Russian tourist and recreational product, as well as the use of its internal and external investment potential and formation of the national strategy of promoting innovative high-tech tourist products and services can considerably increase the country’s competitiveness in this sphere | Key words: integration, international tourism, tourism | Pages: 258 - 261 |
