| The article distinguishes the major economic possibilities and risks emerging as a result of economy’s integration into global production networks. The case of Asian Pacific countries shows that development of such networks increased the role of developing countries in the international trade and global economy at large. Against the background of the present-day global and national economy, integration of Byelorussian economy into the global production networks is a most significant tool for the implementation of the country’s foreign trade strategy due to the possibilities of direct foreign investment association with the integration. The authors formulate the main guidelines of the strategy of the national integration of the Republic of Belarus’ into global production networks, including definition of its aim, tasks, organizational principles and major approaches, as well as development of branch-based recommendations and the complex of economic policy measures that will facilitate inclusion of the Byelorussian economy into the system of international production. | Key words: global production networks, multinational company, direct foreign investment, international production, international trade, foreign trade | Pages: 169 - 175 |
